The next few weeks were pretty much a waiting game. Everybody kept telling us that "it is up to Joe" on how quick things happen in terms of recovery and so on. I cannot remember much about Joe being in intensive care after his operation to the point that he left intensive care... After Joe was born, I spent one night in the hospital.
